about

Blackhaine steps into the northern lights with new EP 'Armour'. A 5 track EP made under quarantine in fair Preston and Salford, directly with breakout producer Rainy Miller.

An opus to inner city environment, long nights, heavy mornings and lost months. The two pair sonically with measure and Blackhaine brings energy on the single 'Blackpool' with a hybrid drill beat allowing his flow to breathe, 'The Fall' shows a different side entirely with melody and lush simpleness throughout, 'Black Lights on the M6' is the articulated story of driving through the north, desperate for something. 'Death in June' a broken jazz drill tale of drug intake and ending on 'Womb' which profoundly shows the artistry that 'Black Lights' explored earlier on.

Story telling, crass, opaque and visual. An EP for the burning sensation that the devils only in your hands and not your heart.
